Course Objective

To deeply investigate phenomenology as a philosophical, epistemological and methodological approach along with taking consideration its historical process and to teach sociological methods relied on phenomenology.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will learn the history of phenomenology and its basic approach.
2   They will meet the founders of phenomenology along with their theories.
3   They will see the impact of phenomenology on sociological methods.
4   They will learn Romantic hermeneutics as a method.
5   They will gain phenomenological imagination in social sciences.
