Course Objective

To give informaiton about religious foundations in general.
Especially contemprorary religious educational foundaitons and their improvement period will be evaluated.
In this respect, the effects of recent developments in social and educaitonal activities on religious educaitonal foundations will be evaluated.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   They can explain the social and cultural factors that effects on developping periods of religious educational faoundations.
2   They can explain the developping periods of religious educaitonal foundaitonsin Republican era.
3   They can explain the changes in Imam-Hatip high schools and mid-level educaiton.
4   They can analyze the new pratices in religious educaiton.
5   They can analyze the foundational changes in theology faculties.

2 The legislation "Tavhid-i Tadrisat" and its effects on foundaitonal process of religious eucation.
3 From Darul-Hilafe Madrasah to the Imam-Hatip high schools.
4 From Sulaymaniyah Madrasah to Theology faculty
5 The social and cultural necessities for this changing process.
6 The discussions in this changing process.
7 The religious educaitonal foundations in one party period.
8 Mid-term Exam
9 The discussions about re-opening the religious educaitonal foundaitons in multi-party period
10 Re-opening the Imam-Hatip High schools.
11 The changings in Imam-Hatip high schools between 1951-2014
12 The foundation of Ankara university theology faculty
13 Opening the High Islamic Institudes and developping period of them.
14 General review.
