To learn Ancient Egyptian and Mesopotamian beliefs and practices and to compare them with other religious traditions

1   Students learn political religious climate of ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia
2   Have an idea on religious beliefs and practices in this regions
3   Perceive meanings and functions of these beliefs
4   Can make comparison between these beliefs and semitic religions
5   Can make comparison between these beliefs and Eastern religions
6   Can notice our times parallels of these beliefs
