Course Objective

To deal with emergence and historical development of Christianity. To contribute true understanding the references in Islamic sources on Christianity. To understand modern problems in the light of history.

1   Know socio-cultural environment in the emergence of christianity
2   Learn historical development of christianity
3   Understand truly the references in the Islamic literature on Christianity
4   Understand the relations between Abrahamic religions
5   Perceive possibility and problems of Muslim-Christian dialog
6   Can make assesments on future of interreligious dialog and Christianity
