Course Objective

the aim of course, to provide information about the Vienna Convention on the International Sale of Goods, the application field of this convention, the conditions of international sale of goods, the obligations of seller and the results of these violations of the obligations, rights of buyer's, application field of international trade letter of credit, parties and types of letter of credit .

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to notice about effort of harmonization in the field of International Contract and Sales Law
2   Be able to notice Vienna Convention on the International Sale of Goods (CISG)
3   Be able to describe the implementation of the EU Directive on Sale of Consumer Goods
4   Be able to explain the meaning and scope of application of the letter of credit in international trade
5   Be able to notice legal nature of the letter of credit
