The purpose is to familiarize students with 20TH CNETURY English fiction and enable them to apply them to the texts.

1   : To discuss the role of culture in literature
2   To familiarize the students with the sociological strategies to apply to the texts
3   To familiarize the students with the new critical strategies to apply to the texts
4   To show how to use these theories in ELT classes
5   To show how to use critical thinking strategies
