Course Objective

To teach the basic concepts of testing and assessment,
the various ways of testing and evaluating the foreign language proficiency levels of learners the various techniques of assessing language learners speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in English, and their knowledge of grammar and vocabulary

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to be able to prepare an instrument to assess listening skill of the learners
2   to be able to prepare an instrument to assess speaking skill of the learners
3   to be able to prepare an instrument to assess reading skill of the learners
4   be able to prepare an instrument to assess writing skill of the learners
5   be able to prepare an instrument to assess the learners grammar knowledge
6   be able to prepare an instrument to assess the learners vocabulary knowledge
7   be able to prepare an instrument to assess the overall proficiency of the learners
