Course Objective |
|
Define the basic pathological topics of neoplasia including terminology of cancer, carcinogenesis, mechanisms of differentiation and transformation of the neoplastic cells, mechanisms of cell death, angiogenesis, invasion and metastasis, oncogene and tumor suppressor genes. Define the histopathological and cytopathological features of cancer of various organs. In laboratory lessons perform the microscopic examination of histological slides and smears. |
