Course Objective

Prepare the student to identify work related musculoskeletal problems, and develop their knowledge and practical ability to plan treatment using relevant physiotherapy assessment methods.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   By the end of the module students will be able to review this field from the employer, employee, work related security staff and health care staff s point of view as well as develop basic prevention models
2   By the end of the module students will be able to manage existing health problems.

1 Description of work and health, review of related associations
2 Organization of the work field and its relation to the musculoskeletal problems
3 Different ergonomic models in practice (comparison of different work fields and conditions)
4 Short and long term effects of the ergonomic organization on work related musculoskeletal problems.
