Course Objective |
The aim of this course is to teach the students which fabric techniques have been used for woven fabrics used in everyday life, and by which loom technique they have been produced. And also, we aim to inform the students the stages for weaving. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
In the course, after the basic introduction and explanations, we will support the lesson subjects by the examples explaining the features of basic fabrics and their derivatives and how they are made. Furthermore, we will have the students make plain weave, fustian and satin fabric using armure looms. |

The students will be evaluated by the fabrics they have applied, using information they have got. |
Assessment Criteria |
In accordance with the aim of the course, it is necessary for the students to distinguish the differences of the fabrics used in the fabric production and the importance of them during application. |
