Course Objective

Be able to choose the topics which are considered for development in the jewellery sector, to analyze the scientific study reports ( master, doctorate thesis, technical reports) done in various national and international centers (university, institute, research center etc.) to form a research proposal, to be able to write an article.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to apprehend the basic features of scientific research.
2   Be able to execute the methods and techniques of the research.
3   To be able to take part in scientific research projects of the jewellery sector.
4   To be able to prepare a scientific presentation in the jewellery sector.
5   To be able to write an article which may be published in national and international peer-reviewed journals of the jewellery sector.

Assessment Criteria

Theoretical intermediate examination, midterm research assignment and final examination will be measured along with five study printouts.

Every student is obliged to participate in at least 80% of the lessons. Every cheating action performed during the lessons and examinations will be evaluated within the disciplinary action.
