Course Objective

To inform about basic concepts and principles in ecology, effects on agriculture of environmental factors, differences of natural ecosystems and keep of ecology.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to evaluate land quantity, demographical structure and agricultural regions of Turkey.
2   Being able to definite growing factors effects on agricultural production ( ecological factors: light, term, rain, humidity, soil and live factors).
3   Being able to broadly explain main principles of ecology in agriculture, environment and sustainable development models.
4   Being able to explain to anybody adopted measures for decreasing of environmental pollution.
5   Being able to explain conceptual and theoretical essentials of material design and agricultural ecologies.

9 Environmental factors (air movements, rain)
10 Definition of soil and consist of soils
11 Structure and texture of soil
12 Soil water, water forms in soil, water movement in soil and relationship with plant, soil nutrient materials in soil and relationship with plant
13 Soil air, soil reaction, soil salinity and relationship with plant, water and wind erosion, soil cultivation
14 Keep to living of soil for plant growing and soil pollution
