Course Objective

The aim of this course is to study Mesopotamian, Egyptian and Anatolian Civilizations and to discuss historical problems of these cultures from Stone age to Byzantine period according to historical texts and archaeological data

1   list a comparative chronology of Mesopotamia, Egypt and Anatolia
2   line borders of historical geography of Mesopotamia, Egypt and Anatolia
3   understand importance of acculturation in the Middle East and its role in history of civilization
