Course Objective

To give information to students about formation, types, healing process, treatment techniques and rehabilitation of fracture

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of this course, student will be able to define mechanisms, symptoms, classifications, types of healings, treatment techniques and complications of fracture
2   At the end of this course, student will be able to make general physiotherapy assesment and compose treatment programme of a patient with fracture
3   At the end of this course, student will be able to define basic principles of fracture rehabiliation
4   At the end of this course, student will be able to perform physiotherapy and rehabilitation for a patient with spinal fracture
5   At the end of this course, student will be able to perform physiotherapy and rehabilitation for a patient with lower/upper extremity fracture

7 Physiotherapy for knee and calf fractures
