Course Objective

At the end of this course, it is aimed that the students learn the spread of Europe in parallel with the development of Europe's early modern period, the early results of this expansion and the effects of all these on the Ottoman world

2   To be able to write necessary concepts and terms to understand the expansion of Europe
3   To be able to explain Europe's political and economic situation in 15th and 16th century
4   To be able to compare the expansion of Portugal and Spain by using the maps
5   To be able to explain the Ottoman-Portugal struggles by using the map
