Course Objective

The aim of the course it to enable students to analyze and to prepare teaching materials using the communicative, intercultural and cognitive approach and to be aware of alternative teaching methods.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students can define contemporary foreign language teaching methods and techniques.
2   Students can compare between different approaches.
3   Students can differentiate different apporaches and methods.
4   Students can relate text books to the approaches used and analyze them.
5   Students can prepare teaching materials according to the communicative, intercultural and cognitive approach.
