Course Objective

To enable students to conduct a linguistic analysis of errors considering typical German learners difficulties; to enable students to deal in a sensitive and reflected manner with mistakes and errors in classroom situations

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The students can identiy and mark mistakes and errors using different systems.
2   The students can analyze and classify mistakes and errors using different criteria and different systems.
3   The students can judge the importance of errors and mistakes.
4   The students can correct mistakes and errors orally and in a written way according to different systems and techniques and reflect their own system of corrections applied.
5   The students can reckognize possible sources of errors through their knowledge of German (as L2) and Turkish (as L1).
6   The students can reckognize possible sources or errors through their knowledge of L1- and L2 language acquisition processes.
