Course Objective

To teach of selected literary motifs of German literature from the Middle Ages to the present day, processed in the framework of the age, the author and the work.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student can learn the concepts that form the basis of literary works
2   The student can grasp properties of the Subject, motifs and the symbol
3   The student is able to detect the usage of symbolic and metaphorically
4   The student examine motifs, which used by the different authors and in the different
5   The student can research the subject-motif-symbol in literary works
