Course Objective

Learning of science development process,flashing on scientific researches , commenting and evaluating new researches

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Development process of mathematics in the first civilizations will be learned
2   Mathematics and methods used in old Anatolian civilizations will be learned
3   Turkish-Islamic scientists and mathematicians in the middle ages will be learned
4   The methods used in arithmetic, algebra and geometry lessons in the Ottoman period will be searched
5   Teaching methods and curricula which are old and current will be compared
6   The history, importance and value of mathematics will be undersood.
