Course Objective

To be able to write one part modal dictation, to read modal solfege pieces, to write one part melody dictation in five sharped and flatted major/minor tune, to write two part melody dictation in four sharped and flatted major/minor tune, writing four part chord progressing, and gain the skills on sightreading.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Writes modal dictation.
2   Comrehends and writes five sharped and flatted major/minor tonality.
3   Writes two part melody dictation in three sharped and flatted major/minor tune.
4   Comrehends and writes four part chords by listening on the piano.
5   Reads the modal solfege pieces.
6   Reads the tonal solfege pieces.
