Course Objective

Gaining about traffic, basic knowledge and skills about traffic education in primary level, accidents and first aid.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to have the knowledge of the basic rules and concepts connected with traffic.
2   Being able to develop skills in traffic education at primary level.
3   Being able to have the knowledge of basic concepts relevant with accidents and first aid.
4   Being able to comprehend the rules to be take into consideration for carrying the sick and injured.
5   Being able to understand the knowledge of precautions in special circumstances in first aid (example: burn, freezing, bleeding, to be wounded, shock, to be drowned and to be poisoned).

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 Introduction and explaining of course syllabus.
2 What is traffic Kinds of transportation, license plates and the road lines.
3 The walker in traffic (traffic signs, the rules of crossing the streets).
4 The traveler in traffic (the rules to obey).
5 The driver in traffic.
6 Accidents and first aid.
7 Techniques for carrying the sick and injured.
8 Midterm exam.
9 First aid in injures and bleeding (first aid kit).
10 First aid in dislocated and broken (bandages).
11 First aid in bites.
12 First aid in being shocked and drowned.
13 First aid in being poisoned and swallow something.
14 First aid in being freeze and burned, Donating of tissues and organs.
15 Final exam.
