Course Objective

Teaching the development of concepts of human rights and democracy by giving the historical process, the fundamental rights and freedoms of the individual, getting the students comprehend different thoughts, beliefs and cultures may exist in peace and reconciliation.

1   Learns and internalizes the concepts of human rights and democracy
2   Gains tolerance and culture of compromise
3   Comprehends that human rights are acquired innately regardless of religion, language, race discrimination
4   Comprehends that the idea of human rights and democracy are ultimate values of the age that is being experienced
5   Understands that the culture of human rights and democracy make it easier to live together
