Course Objective

To enable prospective teacher, who will do the instruction of the books concerning different courses prepared in accordance with the primary education curriculum, To identify and learn the text books they would use in the class and the topics in these books; to raise their awareness on the Student Study Books and Teacher Guideline Books, which came up with the new system, on the points of their purpose, content and effective use.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to grasp the relation between the text books and curriculum
2   Being able to observe the positive and negative aspects of the use of text boks
3   Being able to evaluate the text books in terms of program, language and narration, scientific content, and visual design
4   Being able to explain the role of teacher guideline books and student study books in the use of text book and education
5   Being able to prepare a model text book compatible with the curriculum, based on the content knowledge
