Course Objective

The course aims to provide concepts of the theoretical foundations of the ethics, universal and the importance of the size of individual freedom, universal ethical principles and values, ethical principles, and ethical systems development, rationalization of unethical behavior, professional ethics, education, ethical dilemmas in education, ethics in education and ethics training.

4   To interpret universal ethical principles and values
5   To explain the principles of professional ethics education by adapting different application areas

2 What is ethic Basic concepts, philosophical foundations and importance.
3 Foundations of ethical approach
4 Introduction to professional ethics; concepts of profession, to decide in ethical frame, codes of the professional ethics.
5 Principles of professional competence,responsibility and to act useful and not to harm.
6 Principles and rules of scientific researches and publications
7 Education and teaching as a profession, concept of ethic and professional ethic, prosecution of ethical behavior
8 Mid-term exam
9 Ethics in education
10 Education employees and ethics
11 Students' ethical rights and responsibilities
12 Parents' ethical rights and responsibilites
13 Social responsibilities of the schools
14 Ethical concepts in education supervision, ethical problems and causes in Turkish Education System
