To have knowledge about the essence of Quran
To have knowledge about the thoughts emerged in Islamic thought and their reflections on Quran

Thoughts emerged in Modern period (last two centuries) and Quran

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Will have knowledge about the thoughts emerged in Islamic thought and their reflections on Quran
2   Will have knowledge about the thoughts emerged in classical Islamic thought and their relations with Quran
3   Will read about the Mutazili thought, Maturidi thought, Eşari thought, Wahdat al-wujud and Quran
4   Will think of the thoughts emerged in Modern period (last two centuries) and their relation with Quran
5   Will read about Newtonian Physics(Positivist Thought), Orientalist thought, Social Science thought, Structural and Functionalist Reading, Quantum Physics and Postmodern discourse.
