Course Objective |
The objective of the course is to enable the student to establish universal knowledge on translation and to learn the advances made in translation studies. Furthermore, the student will be able to distinguish the difference between word-for-word and sense-for-sense translation and to acquire knowledge on current translation methods. The student will especially gain skills on how to establish intertextual equivalency based on theories developed by different translation scientists. |
