Course Objective

Methods that are used in acheological exploration technics. and features of collecting
data on archeological sites, Usage of data processing and parameter determination
methods. Interpretation criteria of results related to shapes of overburden buildings.

2 Introduction of natural and artifical source methods that are used in applications
3 Definition of how to use them on overburden materials.
4 Introduction of areas and ways of using natural source methods (microgravity-magnetic-SP).
5 Expression of how to use data processing and parameter estimation methods on field data
6 Discussion of how to get the results from the data.
7 Mid-term exam
8 Introduction of areas and ways of using artificial source methods (electric-electromagnetic- seismicgeoradar).
9 Expression of how to use data processing and parameter estimation methods on field data.
10 Discussion of how to get the results from the data.
11 Detailed introduction of some samples from Turkey and world. Investigation of conclusions
12 Detailed investigation of existing areas.
13 Mid-term exam
14 Exploration of new data collected methods (applied or data processing).

The students study the subjects of the week using Turkish and foreign source books
