Course Objective |
The aim of the course is to give knowledge about dome design as a construction method, a structural upper cover, a shape element and a space determinant, to illustrate dome use in architecture from the viewpoint of both structure and sustainability and let the students prepare and present a paper. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
The course will be taught in a lecture, student group presentation and design application format. First the lectures will be given. Then student groups will present their research on the 11th and 12th weeks. A dome design study will be done on the 13th week. |

Course Policies and Rules |
There will be lectures for 9 weeks, then student groups will present their research study on the 11th and 12th weeks. A dome design study will be done on the 13th week with drawings or model and submit this design on the 14th week. |
