Course Objective

Since the beginning of the changes and developments in the teaching of Turkish literature, Turkish literature, Turkish culture and ensure that the evaluation.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learns the historical development of Turkish literature and understand the main turning points together with the reason.
2   Understands changes in society moving away from changes in literature
3   Knows literary history, development of literary historiography and the most prominent figures of this species. Knows how to use sources of literary history.
4   Becomes aware of the richness of Turkish culture and improves sensitivity to take ownership to culture
5   Knows poets, writers and their works

4 Islam on Turkish Literature (11th-12th century) Kutadgu-Bilig, Divan-ı Lügat-it Türk, Divan-ı Hikmet, Atabet ül Hakayık.
5 13. century. Turkish Literature (Divan-Folk Literature)
6 Sufi Literature (Yunus Emre)
7 14. century Turkish Literature (f Gulsehri, Karagoz, Meddah Stories)
