Course Objective

Explaining with the help of samples the place and importance of autobiography in expressive visual arts and artistic language creation. Presenting the life stories of modern and postmodern artists subjected their works of art properly. Let young artists define their presence, form their artistic language on their biographies, produce artworks.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Can define biography and autobiography.
2   Can express biography as an artwork.
3   Knows the contribution of autobiography as a part of literature to visual arts and can create self-portraits.
4   Can analyze contemporary visual artworks with melting borders between personal mythology life and art.
5   Can understand autobiography, effort, memory and culture, things about life in artistic creation.
