Course Objective

To explicate social, economical, political, and cultural impacts of the Population Exchange in newly established Republic of Turkey.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to apprehend the logic of migration movements
2   To be able to explain how to materialize migration movement
3   To be able to inform about demographic structure in Turkey
4   To be able to apprehend how migration movements in Turkey bring in a character to state economy, culture and its society
5   To be able to apprehend how demographic structure which changed as a result of the Turkish-Greek Population Exchange, bring in a character to state economy, culture and its society
