Dersin Amacı

A course designed to develop the mathematical skills considered important for business students. The primary emphasis is on the calculus for functions of one variable and its applications.

Dersin Öğrenme Kazanımları

1	Evaluate limits of functions from their graphs and/or equations.
2	Determine derivatives for functions involving powers, exponentials, logarithms and combinations of these functions and solve business and economic applications using these derivatives.
3	Integrate selected functions and solve business and economic applications using these results.
4	Apply the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus to evaluate definite integrals.
5	Calculate income, cost and expenses.
6	Apply the concepts of limits, derivatives and integrals to solve problems involving functions unique to business applications and interpret these concepts graphically.
