History |
n 12 November 2015 General Board of Higher Education decided liquidation of the vocational school and replaced it with the School of Applied Sciences. Department of International Trade is one of the programme among three in the high school. The Department of International Business and Trade was founded in 2015 within DEU The School Of Seferihisar Fevziye Hepkon Applied Sciences offers theory and practice based interdisciplinary courses which integrate management, economics, accounting and finance, marketing, international trade, international business management courses in order to develop strategies and generate solutions for complex international business problems by considering the effects of international enviromental factors in dynamic structure of international business arena. Qualification Requirements and Regulations |
The student must complete 4 years of study acquiring 240 (ECTS) credits. This degree is awarded to students who have successfully completed all theoretical courses and applied courses in the curriculum and 90 working days of practical training. According to the Article 33 of Regulation of Dokuz Eylul University on education and examination in Associate s and Bachelor s Degrees, the student should have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.00 on a 4.00 scale and also have got no failing grades in order to complete the education successfully and attain a diploma. |
Profile of the Programme |
Department of International Trade aims to provide students with necessary skills and knowledge to analyze global trade relations and markets. Deparment's courses mainly teach norms and rules of international trade to guide students in mapping risks and opportunities. The liberalization of trade in developing countries such as Turkey requires competent and professional staff bearing the knowledge of international trade regime. Then, our department is found to provide the needed staff for the international trade related sectors. International Trade program mainly relies on courses combining the knowledge of different disciplines such as economics, business administration, accounting and finance. It is designed to provide students with necessary theoretical as well as the practical background to analyze international trade regime. |

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
Evaluation methods for every course are defined in the course syllabus form prepared by the relevant teaching staff and provided in the Information Package. The related articles of the Regulation of Dokuz Eylul University on Education and Examination in Associate s and Bachelor s Degrees and Implementation Fundamentals of Education and Examination in Seferihisar Fevziye Hepkon School Of Applied Sciences are implemented for examinations and course pass marks. |

Also, students must meet GPA 1.80 to take a lesson from next year. |
